Tsoho asked for reassignment of the case following a petition by the legal team of Nnamdi Kanu led by Chuks Muoma, alleging that he was biased in its handling of Kanu's case.<br/>
<br/>
Muoma said they have no confidence in Tsoho as they believe he was not been fair to Kanu and was acting on the orders of the Federal government. While asking for reassignment, Tsoho said<br/>
“I have no interest in trying your matter and I will return it to the CJ, but I will condemn the attitude of that counsel. I do not care if you take your case to another planet”.</div>

In Owerri, the Imo State capital, there was free movement as the residents went about their businesses without molestation as had earlier been feared.<br/>

Meanwhile there was heavy presence of armed Policemen who mounted at strategic locations across the capital city with their Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC).<br/>

However when contacted, MASSOB factional leader, Uchenna Madu, said that the exercise was successful across the zone.<br/>

According to him, “we achieved over sixty percent compliance in all the state and that shows that our people are committed to the struggle for a sovereign Biafra. It also shows that we are a powerful group and the people are behind what we are doing “.<br/>

On the reason for the sit-at-home, he said that “we decided to sit at home to pray for the release of Nnamdi Kanu and other detained pro-Biafra activists and also to afford our people the opportunity to reflect about the struggle”.</div>

<br/>
MASSOB State Coordinator of Religion in Anambra, Pastor Ani Nwede James made this known to newsmen adding that the group had decided to renew what he described as its covenant with God.<br/>
<br/>
He said the group which is identified as Biafran Clergy Men would be backing up its prayers with occasional fasting to draw down the hand of God.<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
Pastor James explained that the move to go spiritual to actualise Biafra started sixteen years ago but had only come to fulfilment this year.<br/>
<br/>
The clergy called on Ohaneze Ndigbo, Churches and other religious leaders to join them in the crusade to actualise the sovereign state of Biafra.<br/>
<br/>
Commenting on the recent statement credited to President Muhammadu Buhari that Biafra would never be achieved, Pastor James said the clergymen had already petitioned God over that, saying that anybody who in any imagination thought that Biafra would not be actualised was having a day dream “because it is a task that must be done.”<br/>
<br/>
The pastors also told the Fulani herdsmen to leave “Biafran land” for good as God’s anger would descend on them for spilling innocent blood.<br/>
<br/>
Meanwhile, 5,000 protesting members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have said President Buhari that he cannot stop the actualization of a sovereign state of Biafra.<br/>

The warning came on the heels of Monday’s attack by Fulani herdsmen on a community in Uzo Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State in which about 15 people were allegedly killed.<br/>
<br/>
MASSOB, which said it was worried by the inability of the Federal Government to stop the increasing destruction of farmlands, raping of women, armed robbery, kidnapping as well as killing of innocent Nigerians by Fulani herdsmen.<br/>
<br/>
National Director of Information of MASSOB, Sunny Okereafor, who handed down the ultimatum in an interview with newsmen in Aba, said the Federal Government has been playing with fire over the attacks and threatened that MASSOB will not fold its arms and allow Fulani herdsmen invade Igbo communities to rape women, kill residents and burn their houses.<br/>
<br/>
According to him, “MASSOB is worried that Fulani herdsmen have become very daring in their attacks since President Buhari came to power.<br/>
<br/>
“We are not saying Buhari is their sponsor, but his silence over the attacks is suspicious. MASSOB is giving Buhari a 30-day ultimatum to stop the attacks or face our wrath.<br/>
<br/>
“Again, we are warning Fulani herdsmen and their sponsors to withdraw from Biafra land. They should count Igbo land out of their Islamisation policy.<br/>
<br/>
“We are also warning Ndigbo to remain on alert, as these Fulani herdsmen are terrorists posing as herdsmen. Soon, they will pay for all their atrocities against the people of Biafra.”<br/>
<br/>
Okereafor, who disclosed that his group had set up a committee to monitor the activities of Fulani herdsmen in Igbo land, added that MASSOB would be forced to abandon her non-violent policy to protect Biafrans if the Federal Government refuses to check the invasion of its communities by the herdsmen.</div>

<br>He is in race for a seat at the Nigerian Senate. Hon. Ekwunife had polled 101548 votes to outsmart Umeh’s 77129 votes to win the Anambra Central senatorial election.<br>
<br>Announcing the result, Dr. Pius Okoye, the INEC returning officer attested that the poll was free, fair and credible, but the Appeal Court however nullified Ekwunife’s election.</p></div><br>
