President Buhari stated that the good relations between the two countries had yielded benefits in trade and investment, agriculture, technology and the fight against terrorism.<br/>
<br/>Buhari said Nigeria would emulate India’s agricultural model and its capacity to feed its one billion population, as well as export to other countries, describing the country as “sustainable and prosperous”.<br/>
<br/>The President assured Ansari that Nigeria would continue to support the reform of the United Nations Security Council, pointing out that it was unfair on the rest of the world for five countries to exercise power exclusive veto powers in the UN.<br/>
In his remarks the Indian Vice President said his country, which is the leading buyer of Nigeria’s crude oil, will increase its purchase of the commodity in addition to natural gas.<br/>
According to him, the relationship between Nigeria and India is near perfect as both countries “have nothing to quarrel about.”<br/>

Indian police on Friday arrested three officials and detained seven more from a company constructing an overpass that collapsed onto a crowded Kolkata neighborhood, killing at least 24 people and injuring more than 80.<br/>
<br/>
Rescuers cleared the crumbled concrete and twisted metal rods a day after the collapse in the crowded area of the eastern Indian city. They have pulled out 67 people alive.<br/>
<br/>
“There is no possibility of finding any person alive,” said S.S. Guleria, deputy inspector general of the India’s National Disaster Response Force. He said engineers were being consulted about part of the overpass still hanging over the disaster area, after which workers will “slowly start dismantling this particular section to avoid any collateral damage to houses around it.”<br/>
<br/>
The arrested and detained employees worked for Hyderabad-based IVRCL Infrastructure Co., which was contracted in 2007 to build the overpass. Police also sealed the firm’s Kolkata office.<br/>
<br/>
They are being questioned over possible culpable homicide, punishable by life imprisonment, and criminal breach of trust, which carries a prison sentence of up to seven years, police said.<br/>
<br/>
Those arrested are scheduled to appear before a court Saturday which would hear arguments for formally charging them in the case, a police officer said on condition of anonymity as he was not authorised to talk to reporters.<br/>
<br/>
The Press Trust of India news agency said seven other employees have been detained for questioning.<br/>
<br/>
Two West Bengal state engineers overseeing the construction of the overpass were suspended from jobs pending an inquiry into the disaster, a state government statement said.<br/>
<br/>

The partially constructed overpass had spanned nearly the width of the street and was designed to ease traffic through the densely crowded Bara Bazaar neighborhood in the capital of the east Indian state of West Bengal. Within hours of concrete being poured into a framework of steel girders on Thursday, about 100 meters (300 feet) of the overpass collapsed.<br/>
<br/>
“I heard an explosion, a solid one,” said resident Rabindra Kumar Gupta, who had been home eating lunch. “My apartment shook. The whole building shook. When I looked outside, there was a lot of smoke.”<br/>
<br/>
Fearing the collapse may have caused structural damage to about 150 houses in the neighborhood, authorities asked 62 families of to evacuate immediately while engineers examined the safety of the other buildings, Kolkata Mayor Shovon Chattopadhyay said.<br/>
<br/>
Smashed yellow taxis, a crushed truck, destroyed rickshaws and the bloody legs of trapped people jutted from the fallen girders and concrete.<br/>
<br/>
The construction company was far behind schedule for the overpass.<br/>
<br/>
“We completed nearly 70 percent of the construction work without any mishap,” IVRCL official K.P Rao said Thursday. He was not among those detained on Friday. “We have to go into the details to find out whether the collapse was due to any technical or quality issue.”<br/>
<br/>
Patients and their relatives crowded the corridors at Marwari Relief Society Hospital, where at least 30 of the more than 80 injured people were still being treated Friday.<br/>
<br/>
“We converted a hall into a special ward,” hospital management committee member Manoj Gupta said. Doctors were providing treatment free of charge, including X-rays and CT scans.<br/>
<br/>

Among the injured was ambulance driver Gopal Kanoi, who had stopped for a cup of tea near the overpass when it crashed down around him. He said he rushed around to rescue the injured, including a man trapped in a crumpled rickshaw screaming “Save me!”<br/>
<br/>
He then lost consciousness, having sustained a head injury.<br/>
<br/>
“The public picked me up, moved me out of the way and brought me to the hospital,” Kanoi said. “If I had been later by two seconds, I would have been squished under the bridge.”<br/>
<br/>
As workers in yellow hard-hats operated huge cranes, bulldozers and other equipment Friday to clear the rubble and pry apart the concrete slabs, crowds of people waited anxiously to see if neighbors and friends had survived. The intersection had been a place where street vendors and service workers regularly plied their trades.<br/>
<br/>
“There used to be a tailor who sat here on this corner. We wonder about him. A cigarettes and tobacco vendor - we knew everyone who used to stay around this crossing,” resident Pankaj Jhunjhunwala said.<br/>
<br/>
Rescuers also used dogs and special cameras to locate people who were trapped, he said.<br/>
<br/>
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Washington at the time of the collapse, said he was “shocked and saddened,” according to a message on his Twitter account.<br/>

Since she has not committed any crimes, officials are not releasing her pseudonym or naming the exact town where she now lives.<br/>

Gillespie-Miller had just given birth to her third child when she ran away from her Laurel, Ind., home. Believing she was too young to be a mom, the 28-year-old signed custody of the kids to her own parents and vanished.<br/>
<br/>
Indiana Detective Sergeant Scott Jarvis took on the case in 2014 after the Doe Network, a website that advocates for the families of missing persons, contacted police. Jarvis began looking into women with similarities to the missing Gillespie-Miller, and eventually narrowed in on one woman who lived in Tennessee in the 1980s before moving to Texas.<br/>
<br/>
Police did not detail what tipped Jarvis off, but he asked Texas Rangers to touch base with the woman —and she confessed her true identity to them on Thursday.<br/>
<br/>
“Gillespie-Miller could offer no explanation as to why she left her Indiana life behind in 1974,” police said in a statement.<br/>
<br/>
Gillespie-Miller and her daughter, Tammy, plan to make contact this weekend.<br/>

“I once married 10 women in one year,” Ziona Chana said.<br>
