The report published by ‘Which?’ and shared with Apple says while most other brands fared well in their tests, except, HTC, the talk-time results for iPhones were much below those claimed by Apple. HTC’s figures were down by around 5% while the other brands phones exceeded the official claims by up to 21% even.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 19.36px;"><br></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 19.36px;">The nine iPhone models that were testes by ‘Which?’ the talk-time were less by 18% to 51%. If you take the example of iPhone XR, Apple says its battery lasts up to 25 hours when fully charged. The tests conducted by the UK agency showed it lasted only 16 hours+.  </span></p><p><span style="font-size: 19.36px;"><br></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 19.36px;">Apple, on its part, has questioned the method used by the agency to test the talk-time. The company says it shares its testing process in public. Interestingly, ‘Which?’ too has shared its process details. But the jury is still out on this one. There has to be a uniform testing environment close to the real one in the hands of the users of the phones.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 19.36px;"><br></span></p><p></p><p><span style="font-size: 19.36px;">The concept of talk-time for using the phone for just voice calls is one thing; but the phones could be put to different uses like messaging or watching videos or playing games that have high level of graphics. Apple may have to still take a serious note of this report and work on the battery life on its phones.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 19.36px;"><br></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 19.36px;"><br></span></p><p>Source; <a href="https://www.thenewsminute.com/article/apple-overstating-iphone-battery-life-claims-uk-consumer-advocacy-group-101314" style="font-size: 1.1em;" target="_blank">thenewsminutes.com</a></p><p></p>

This even made the company stop production and sales of the smartphone. But it now seems like this disaster is now affecting iPhone also.<br /> <br /> An Apple iPhone 7 has recently exploded while injuring the owner in the process. According to the owner who refused to reveal his identity, the incident happened while he was trying to record a video with the phone.<br /> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikoGj7-zgV_Px2VWI6jovTqOdDRi_mL1OI9NDhWcMfwVRxRe30gR4AgLTfUfzHSB_ZxHyvHrISci5eF1XR_m79_PZvpyE9C0BDDO7yd4ojlMRryFly7lWmXemrn8VMuLw07Ky9FBjsHTgi/s2560/%25255BUNSET%25255D.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikoGj7-zgV_Px2VWI6jovTqOdDRi_mL1OI9NDhWcMfwVRxRe30gR4AgLTfUfzHSB_ZxHyvHrISci5eF1XR_m79_PZvpyE9C0BDDO7yd4ojlMRryFly7lWmXemrn8VMuLw07Ky9FBjsHTgi/s640/%25255BUNSET%25255D.jpg" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;" /></a><br /> <br /> According to report, the impact of the explosion was so severe that the iPhone 7 blew up into two pieces with battery and other elements clearly visible while shattered hurling glass flying across his face and causing one of his fingers on his right hand to swell.<br /> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2LRIVo_cQ9keALZk0lq4meT6qq73A1XFME3PBudq7fa5JF4h8ld6QMfQwmYgxehvcUrsv00Dj6FEM0hkIg6LNhv9TFgbmgRwpH2yW2yPa8AhSAjcsC4VUv3zz35-aQEfYw_j02zr8KtYk/s2560/%25255BUNSET%25255D.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2LRIVo_cQ9keALZk0lq4meT6qq73A1XFME3PBudq7fa5JF4h8ld6QMfQwmYgxehvcUrsv00Dj6FEM0hkIg6LNhv9TFgbmgRwpH2yW2yPa8AhSAjcsC4VUv3zz35-aQEfYw_j02zr8KtYk/s640/%25255BUNSET%25255D.jpg" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;" /></a><br /> After the incident, the man reported the case to Apple sale's support where he was told that they had no authority to look or handle such matter. But later, the complaint was forwarded to Apple headquarters. However, where the man actually purchased his iPhone 7 is still unknown , as the man still didn’t state from where he bought his phone.<br /> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPLmqQX7Z-JC31eHOn9IKAc5dJpqxIDF1jxpg0E0OUulpUv0Nn77r0bZ5FLFKf3UxUqhrxoS3K3H9m-_D5FsnVINRTez_WrZQ_oWGX215YAJWJZhnmb6O-uLwMylsr8kCcP1r1K9dmypjg/s2560/%25255BUNSET%25255D.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPLmqQX7Z-JC31eHOn9IKAc5dJpqxIDF1jxpg0E0OUulpUv0Nn77r0bZ5FLFKf3UxUqhrxoS3K3H9m-_D5FsnVINRTez_WrZQ_oWGX215YAJWJZhnmb6O-uLwMylsr8kCcP1r1K9dmypjg/s640/%25255BUNSET%25255D.jpg" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center;" /></a><span style="font-family: sans-serif;">Investigation is currently going on as to what caused the explosion. The cool thing is that the solution isn’t that insanely hard to imagine either, yet it’s incredibly genius. The solution is elegant and it can be hauled around in your pocket. This incredibly genius idea comes from concept designer <b>Tsung Chih-Hsien</b> who presented the Mini Power portable smartphone battery chargers at the <b>2014 </b><font color ="#a02010"><font color ="#000000"><b><u><font color ="#ec1c1c">Red</font></u></b></font></font><b> Dot Awards</b> and won.<br/> <br/>The Mini Power portable chargers could be described as a paper battery technology put into small <u>USB</u> flash drives. If you have ever bought a USB Bluetooth stick you know they are literally as small as a thumbnail. The Mini Power chargers are as small and would come in sizes of <b>2</b> <b>hours, </b><b>4 hours</b> and <b>6 hours</b> worth of battery power. That’s what I call portable smartphone battery chargers!<br/> <br/>The usefulness of these pocket-sized chargers is virtually unprecedented. Depending on the time you expect to be out, you simply pick the one that will serve you the best without it having to be lugged around in a backpack. Just put it in your pocket and be on your merry way. It’s literally as simple as that.</p></div><br/><div style="text-align: center; padding: 5px;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbvSq4nEUzc7dpHO3FWFhbAPdMlRlcNIfsynU992us8au0HAXSC05a8k6EakgCkrYipVpFxoqu6nmMlaF47_C4-OCvOpmjmyKkzOSOkOGu7FNiJ4XhQxARSr1WgrkZMmL9oTZvKbo78LA8/"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbvSq4nEUzc7dpHO3FWFhbAPdMlRlcNIfsynU992us8au0HAXSC05a8k6EakgCkrYipVpFxoqu6nmMlaF47_C4-OCvOpmjmyKkzOSOkOGu7FNiJ4XhQxARSr1WgrkZMmL9oTZvKbo78LA8/ cursor: pointer;" style="border: 1px solid; border-radius: 2px;padding: 5px; max-width: 320px " width="320px" /></a></div><div class="blogaway-section"><p>Whether these incredibly useful Mini Power portable smartphone chargers will ever be realized is hard to say, however, now when people know about them and perhaps get insanely excited about them, the chance of realization is <u>increased</u> immensely.</p></div><br/><div style="text-align: center; padding: 5px;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6ZvKJTk5lcPACawi0y-ObUnYBoNXCgDf0rmqQl2lpiuG8S982GgEugAWq2XWOhK1R1yKO0A-4X0vnPf-z-gYwaRkl9hNH2k_wq_Zr5UQpdA17MNS5JrcRCt3ml3mygRkArZu-Uek1P3qx/"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6ZvKJTk5lcPACawi0y-ObUnYBoNXCgDf0rmqQl2lpiuG8S982GgEugAWq2XWOhK1R1yKO0A-4X0vnPf-z-gYwaRkl9hNH2k_wq_Zr5UQpdA17MNS5JrcRCt3ml3mygRkArZu-Uek1P3qx/ cursor: pointer;" style="border: 1px solid; border-radius: 2px;padding: 5px; max-width: 320px " width="320px" /></a></div><div class="blogaway-section"><p>It’s hard to say what each of them would cost, but they would probably be way cheaper than most portable smartphone chargers on the market today. The technology is definitely there and it all boils down to technical know-how and the funding. Perhaps a <u>Kickstarter</u> would be a good idea at this stage.</p></div><br/>
