The Kano Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji
Abdullahi Minkaila, his wife and two children were
burnt to death in a mysterious fire outbreak at
their home last night April 2nd.
Alhaji Minkaila who supervised last Saturday's
presidential and national assembly elections in Kano
and his family members were rushed to the Murtala
Mohammed specialist hospital where they gave up
the ghost this morning. Residents in the area
described the fire as mysterious. The spokesman of
the Independent Electoral Commission, Mallam
Garba has confirmed the incident.
