The picture above is a boy who was born with one eye in the middle of his forehead. Doctors feel he is suffering from cyclopia, a rare medical condition named after the one-eyed giants of Greek mythology. He was born at a private hospital in El Senbellawein, Egypt. Cyclopia is a birth defect and children born with it often die shortly after birth.
His doctor, Dr Ahmed Badruddin, says he was born with other deformities and he is only expected to survive a few days. His family, who are receiving counseling, released the picture. Doctors think the deformity could be the result of a combination of medicines taken by the mother or from exposure to radiation…..
