The King of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha area of Delta State, HRM Obi Akaeze Ofulue III, who was kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Obior/ Igbodo Road, Delta State, along with his driver on January 5 has been killed by his abductors.
The corpse of the 52-year-old Monarch was found at Ekpon, in Edo State on Thursday and a Hausa man arrested 3 days ago after allegedly being in possession of the king’s GSM hand-set.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Celestina Kalu confirmed the incident adding that the police is still searching for those behind the crime.
