Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in winter, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
West Bromwich Albion are set to make a loan offer for out of favour Arsenal right back Mathieu Debuchy, aaccording to reports.
The French man who is being linked with Baggies has made just seven appearances for the Gunners this season and he is believed to be in search of regular playing time in a bid to secure a place in the France squad when they host the Euros in the summer.
The move to West Brom is however complicated, the season long loan deal of Sergi Gnabry from Arsenal to West Brom would have to be terminated and the winger would return to the Emirates as the premier league prohibits one team to loan more than one player from another team.
This wouldn’t be much of an issue however with the German making only a single appearance as far back as August in the defeat to Chelsea.
With Gnabry set to return to the Emirates, as per the Telegraph, the Baggies will now have the Chance to take Debuchy on loan from the Gunners, according to Birmingham mail.
West Brom who have used centre back Craig Dawson at right back all season are believed to be desperate to seal the deal which would see the French man walk straight into the first team.
