Gov. Nyesom Wike Laugh At Last As Supreme Court Upholds His Election Victory

It is all celebration galore at the Government House in Port Harcourt as Nigeria’s Supreme Court upholds Nyesom Wike’s election victory as the duly elected Governor of Rivers State as announced by the country’s Independent National Electoral Commission.


This historic judgment overruled that of the Appeal Court which upheld the nullification of the State’s Election Petition Tribunal that sat in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital Granting Gov Wike’s request the country’s apex court also voided the findings and conclusions of the Election Tribunal which it ruled are not supported by any legally admissible evidence.
