President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Abuja for a week-long official trip to Saudi Arabia and Qatar on February 22.
The top of the program of discussions between Buhari and the Saudi Monarch, is the current efforts by Nigeria and other members of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries to attain greater stability in the price of crude oil exports.
The Minister of State for Petroleum Dr. Ibe Kachikwu is among the delegation on the official visit.
Before going on to Doha, the president will also visit Medina and Mecca for prayers, for greater peace, prosperity and progress in Nigeria.
President Buhari recently returned for one-day official visit to Egypt where he was among the top speakers at the Business for Africa, Egypt and the World Forum.
However, Nigerians are not happy over Buhari’s frequent trips. Using hash tag #BabaSitAtHome they asked the president to stay at home and solve current challenges of Nigeria.
