The France centre back has been ruled out for six months after his ACL ligament injury in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United, leaving the Blues to reconsider Terry’s contract situation.
According to The Times, this could only mean a reprieve for Terry as the London club’s only centre-backs and captain.
With at least one defensive signing surely needed in the summer anyway, it could be vital for the Stamford Bridge outfit that they now keep their skipper at the club, Metro news has said.
