Rivers Rerun Election; Soldier Shoots Voter In Rumuokwuta - Photo.

A man identified as Lucky Igweh, has been shot in the chest by a soldier at Rumuokwuta, in Obio/Akpor local government area of Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

The man, who was lucky not to have died after the incident, told a source that he was in a queue to vote when the soldier released a gunshot that mistakenly hit him.



According to him, there was an uproar at the polling station before the soldier shot the people and he was hit on the right chest.

Reports say he was rushed to a clinic by policemen at the scene of the incident.
