The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) via its official Twitter handle, alleged that the corp member was killed in the house of an All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate, Asita O. Asita.This recent allegation is coming on the heels of an arrest of Cyril Dum Nwite, the special assistant for special projects for Governor Nyesom Wike who was picked up near the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) office in Bori.
Nwite was reportedly apprehended while in the possession of fake police and military uniforms and at least N3 million in cash.
Speaking with Sahara Reporters on Friday, March 18, sources said that there has been a significant movement of weapons and uniforms into Rivers Sstate ahead of the rerun election.
Meanwhile, there are claims by the PDP that another man has been killed by an APC chieftain in the state.
